Suzanne was licensed to practice law in 2004 and has dedicated her entire career to estate planning and administration.  Her practice focuses on Trust Administration and Probate, preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Federal and Oregon Estate Tax Returns (Form 706 and Form OR-706), and Federal Gift Tax Returns (Form 709).  In her Probate and Trust Administration practice, Suzanne represents fiduciaries and thoughtfully guides them through the entire process.  In her Estate Planning practice, Suzanne provides personalized recommendations and prepares customized estate plans.

While in law school, Suzanne clerked at Harsch Investment, a real estate investment firm in Portland, Oregon.  Also while in law school, Suzanne worked in the school's low-income taxpayer clinic, representing taxpayers before the IRS.  Suzanne then moved to Alaska and began her legal career at Shaftel Law Offices, PC, gaining tremendous experience in complex estate and trust planning and administration, including business, charitable and tax planning.  After moving back home to Oregon, Suzanne spent eight years at Karnopp Petersen LLP in their estate planning department.  To better serve her clients, Suzanne formed ETLAW LLC in 2023.  The "E" is for estate and the "T" is for trust.
